“ The sommelier from Sauvage recommended this as THE place to eat in the area. We were surprised at how busy this place was for a Sunday night, but happy for the busy ambiance. The drinks were very well-balanced. The corn dip was killer and all the tacos we had were very tasty as well. The elk chorizo was intriguing and maybe could've been seasoned stronger. Our server was amazing and I would definitely go back to try their other stuff! ”
“ We went for brunch while we were in Palisade for the Bluegrass and Roots Festival. This was my 3rd visit and the food was as delicious as the other visits. It’s a don’t miss spot! Highly recommended. ”
“ amazing tacos & margaritas. we had a great server & the owners even came out to say hi to us! great food all around. next time I'm trying the enchiladas! my fav was the fish tacos but my friends love the elk chorizo and the cauliflower! ”
“ After driving through an impressive mountain snow storm that made the trip longer than anticipated. We were all hungry and a member of our party suggested Fidel's. Wow! I'm glad we took her advice, the food was delicious, the service was great and the atmosphere was inviting. We all agreed it was and is a enjoyable dining experience ”
“ Our absolute favorite! Delicious food with unique flavors, amazing service and flights of tequila! Thanks Mari, Sasha, Abby and the entire crew! YUM! ”
“ Came in without reservation at 7pm on Monday night. Place was busy but did have a couple open tables and we were greeted and seated immediately by the hostess (who also checked up on us later to make sure everything was fine). A little confusion on who was going to be our waitress but all was fine and water and drinks delivered promptly. I got the chicken enchiladas- good choice! Three decent size enchiladas in a tasty sauce. My wife got a couple of different tacos. The roasted cauliflower had the crunchy textures of the fillings and the beef taco had the crunchy fried shell. Well done! It was cold the night we were there so everyone was seated inside, but on a warmer night the front patio would double the seating area. A quick jaunt from Grand Junction and worth it. Highly recommend for good food in a relaxed atmosphere. ”
“ Great prices for great service and delicious food. We sat at the bar just before the rush; you should plan ahead. This place is popular and fills up quickly, but it's worth the wait if you get stuck during the busier times. We had the chips and salsa and homemade guacamole. Chicken enchiladas and the carne aside bowl. Our last visit was the delicious tacos. Everything on the menu is really good. A nice selection of lical hot sauces to kick it up a notch. A nice variety of drinks to choose from. You will definitely be glad you stopped in. ”
“ I’m amazed. This place was excellent. We had huevos rancheros, the rainbow salad, chips and salsa...the star of the show is the deconstructed elote corn dip...outstanding...seriously. My only regret is that I live three hours away. fried ice cream for dessert was very yummy ...highly recommend ”
